Do you like the advantages our popular Explorer Box offers drivers of smaller, fuel-efficient vehicles but aren’t ready for a Tent Topped camping trailer?
Just leave the Rooftop Tent Unit off and build it as a hauler to get the extra space needed for your next camping adventures.
This version is a good option if you already have a nice high quality ground tent such as a canvas Springbar.
When building this version you have the option of adding a rack system on top for extra storage and items such as bikes, kayaks and canoes.
An Explorer Box trailer body is built the same if you plan on using it as a Gear Hauler or Tent Topped camping trailer with a roof top tent. This makes it easy to initially build this version, then upgrade it down the road to a Tent Topped camper with one of our roof top tents. This is a great way to spread out the cost.
